DAVID D. FUMI
Managing Director

David Fumi is a Managing Director with Signet Capital, LLC, an investment banking firm located in Columbus, Ohio.  Mr. Fumi’s primary focus at Signet will be to grow its Tax Exempt and Taxable Bond capabilities.  Prior to joining Signet, from May 2003 through May 2008, Mr. Fumi was a Managing Director with a large regional bank’s Investment Banking Group. Mr. Fumi joined the regional bank in May of 2003 and focused on the structuring of variable and fixed rate Tax Exempt and Taxable Bond transactions.  

Mr. Fumi has structured Tax Exempt Bonds for large and diverse group of 501(c)(3) organizations (including churches, high schools, and universities), manufacturing companies as well as structuring Tax Increment Financing (“TIF”) Bonds and traditional Municipal Bond transactions.

Mr. Fumi has executed over $4.0 billion in Tax Exempt and Taxable Bonds, working with approximately twenty Letter of Credit banks, hundreds of borrowers and issuers and the major rating agencies. 

Prior to joining the bank firm in 2003, Mr. Fumi was a Director with a regional investment bank and its predecessor for over 15 years and was a manager in its bond group.   

Also, Mr. Fumi was a member of the regional investment bank’s Structured Finance Group as an analyst focusing on mortgage and asset securitization and on executing equity issues for Savings and Loan Associations.  Mr. Fumi graduated from Ohio State University and holds FINRA Series 53 and Series 7 Licenses.
