Executive Summary

Deacon Place, located adjacent to the Wake Forest University campus in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a collection of 10 garden style buildings designed specifically for upperclassmen and graduate students. This $26 million, 328-bed project offers richly appointed apartment units in both townhome and flat layouts. Each unit features four bedrooms and four and one-half baths and is finished with hardwood floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Project amenities included a full clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, putting greens and abundant green spaces for recreational activities.

Project Details

Deacon Place is the only student resident apartment within walking distance to campus that promotes and enhances the educational mission of Wake Forest by providing an environment that incorporates the attributes of on-campus living with educational and amenity space. Signet serves as the owner and operator for the project which includes all leasing, management, and residence life functions. Signet also developed the project and provided all project financing for its construction and operations.
